Businesses in the town of Talkeetna offer scenic flights into the Alaska Range (with the possibility of a glacier landing), guided fishing excursions, scenic riverboat tours, rafting/floating trips, or sled dog rides (even in the summertime!). Several gift shops sell Alaskana, and galleries are filled with impressive photography and paintings by talented local artists. Visit the museum to learn about Talkeetna's history, and later try one of the micro brew beers in the pub. Oh, and definetly turn on the radio to listen to our local station KTNA 88.9 FM.
